Summer Potlucks

These popular gatherings normally start around 5:00 pm on Sunday evening, with the hope that everyone will leave by 7:00 pm, though 8:00 pm is sometimes more realistic.  Hosts provide a place and a hot grill.  As a host, you may provide other things, such as drinks, but that’s not mandatory.  Guests provide a dish to share with six others, their own beverages, and an entrée to grill if they wish.

Potlucks are a great way to connect with others over the summer, especially if you can’t make it to a service.  This year, we will be holding them on the second and fourth Sundays (the Sundays we don’t have church) on the following dates:

July 14

August 25

The good dates always go quickly; in order to remain the envy of your friends, reserve you place early.  To reserve a date, contact Frank Mandt at frank@mandt.org.

A reminder email with the host’s address and directions will be sent during the week preceding the potluck.
